This job has been finished off with sheers and linings (of course 😊) but not every window was going to suit such a treatment. Hilite windows can be an issue as they are at head level and full curtains waste the wall underneath (as we cover it all up) and short curtains look like we’ve put a ‘skirt’ on them, therefore in this situation we found a roller fabric to match the curtain fabric and they work together really well. Roller blinds can be rolled up out of the way and the breeze can flow thru, and privacy is maintained.
In the living/dining area we used the same curtaining and around the corner (which you cannot see) are 2 more hilite windows with matching fabric roller blinds.
